A quick-maturing dwarf pea to 60cm. It has green leaves and climbs using tendrils. The flowers are white and develop into pods containing a good crop of peas in summer. It is an annual which lives for one summer but this variety can be sown in autumn for an earlier start in spring. It shows some tolerance of windy sites
Sow seed quite densely, in full sun in well-drained but moisture-retentive soil. Provide support such as twiggy hazel sticks or netting, them to climb up. Pick pods regularly to ensure a continuous crop.
