Named after the Native American Hopi people, this ancent been has been used as food and dye for centuries. The dark black colour and nutty firm textured bean is excellent in chilli and mexican style dishes. It is a compact dwarf french bean 30 - 50 cm tall. Sow in April and May and plant out after the last frosts. Only a few seeds available. Please save some seeds from each of the plants you grow and return them to us at the Incredible Seed Library. These seeds were donated bu the Seed Saving Network.
