A yellow rooted variety which is fast growing and produces beautiful, long and cylindrical roots. Yellowstone carrots have a delicate, sweet flavour and they cook just as well as their orange siblings, adding that extra rainbow colour to any plate of food.

Yellowstone carrots can be grown in containers, grow bags, or in the open ground. They grow best in light, sandy soil and should not be planted in soil that has been manured within the last year.

Carrots can be sown directly into the soil in drills that are 30 cm apart, with seeds spaced 1 cm apart. When the plants are 3 cm tall, thin them to the final spacing.
